This event is in the past.

Hi Everyone,

We are very excited about our next AATE meeting will take place at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 6th. We will begin registration at 10:30 AM. Mount Vernon is offering an optional TOUR of their interactive and flexible K-4 spaces which will meet at 10:00 AM in front of their Activities Building.

Our Keynote, T.J. Edwards, is an innovative science teacher at MVPS. The title of his presentation is "Planting Ts".
Keynote Description: Technology and engineering can often be the “project” that supports science and math curriculum. Could we (or should we) flip the script to lead with technology and engineering principles to bring meaning and purpose to other disciplines? How might we plant and cultivate “T-shaped people”. This talk will consider how technology education as the base of the “T” might fundamentally support broader education and turn projects into a purpose.

Please click on this link for a linked map and to view the detailed agenda. We have six wonderful breakout sessions which will be repeated. We will be asking you to select your top two choices of breakouts to optimize room selection.

If you are planning to bring guests, please complete a registration for each person. Remember that the fee for guests is $10 to cover the cost of lunch. Please don't forget to pay your dues!

See you soon!
